Bystanders Rescue Child Hit by SUV in China

What happened next was caught on security cameras. A crowd gathered. They lifted the car, and helped the child escape. The child was mostly unharmed. Video of the accident has been spreading over the Internet in China. Many are still reeling from the October hit-and-run of Wang Yue. The two-year-old girl was run over twice in ten minutes, while bystanders walked on. Wang Yue died a few weeks later. The death of Wang Yue prompted nationwide soul searching.
