Toddler Crosses Busy Intersection on Toy Scooter in Eastern China

Any parent’s nightmare.
Surveillance footage captures a toddler crossing a busy intersection on a toy scooter—heading towards oncoming, rush-hour traffic. The incident happened on Monday in Wenzhou in eastern China’s Zhejiang Province.
A police officer spotted the three year-old and led him to safety.
Amazingly the boy didn’t seem fazed.
[Officer Zhang, Policeman]:
“Were you scared when you were on the road driving this vehicle? Not scared? Were you scared? It's okay, not scared?”
[Toddler]:
“Not scared”
The boy was looked after by his grandfather, who says his grandson went missing when he’s in the bathroom.
