Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd is facing a challenge to his leadership from his deputy Julia Gillard. If Gillard succeeds she will replace Rudd, becoming Australia's first female prime minister.
The Labour Party will meet at 9:00 am local time in Canberra to vote on the issue. Rudd will need a majority vote to continue his leadership.
Kevin Rudd answered questions about the vote at a press conference on Wednesday (raw video above).
