Eiffel Tower Ice Skating Rink Opens

Skating c'est bon!

The Eiffel Tower's ice rink has opened for the winter season.

After purchasing tickets to the first floor of the iconic monument, tourists can borrow a pair of skates and take a spin, or fall, with views of Paris surrounding them.

The experience thrilled American honeymooners Colette and Burt.

"It's awesome, once in a lifetime. I know, I don't even like skating. I'm terrible!"

The rink will stay open for two months -- available to anyone willing to brave the freezing temperatures for a glide above the city of lights.
