Prince William kicked it up on the field with students in southeast London in a session of soccer practice.
After missing two goals, William took the chance to poke fun at himself as well as his brother Harry.
He referred to the memory of Harry's mock race with Usain Bolt, the Olympic 100m champion, during his visit to Jamaica in March.
[Prince Williams, Prince of Britain]:
"Watching me on the football field is never a pretty sight. The expression 'giraffe on ice' springs to mind. However, it's marginally less embarrassing to see my brother cheat his way to becoming the fastest man on the planet."
However, he did put in some flattering words for his wife Catherine.
[Prince Williams, Prince of Britain]:
"Catherine on the other hand with a tennis racquet or a hockey stick is something to behold, and be aware of."
Earlier, the royals participated in an event to promote sports for young people.
[Prince Williams, Prince of Britain]:
"What all three of us have in common is that we love sports, and not just playing it, but for what it does for people young and old. It builds confidence, engenders mutual respect and responsibility and teaches us the value of teamwork."
