Britain's Queen Elizabeth II concluded celebrations marking her Diamond Jubilee with a garden party at Balmoral on Tuesday.
The Queen was accompanied by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, as well as Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex.
The monarch's 60 years on the throne have been celebrated throughout the year by a series of events including a flotilla of 1,000 boats sailing up London's River Thames, a concert outside Buckingham Palace, and the lighting of a chain of beacons across the Commonwealth.
Queen Elizabeth is only the second British monarch to mark the 60 year milestone.
The only other was her great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria, in 1897.
