Syrian Rebels Train for Combat
Training rebels to fight in Syria.
Amateur video obtained by Reuters shows Free Syrian Army fighters training for combat in the northern province of Idlib.
They are confident of a victory over government forces.
"God willing we will be triumphant, despite our light weapons. With our energy and determination, we will bring down the regime. God willing, and we will succeed and be victorious. The belief in our hearts pushes us towards victory, God willing."
Rebels say thousands of shells and hundreds of sniper rifles, as well as anti-armour missiles, have been smuggled into Syria through Turkey, Lebanon, and Iraq in recent weeks.
Although rebels say the additional weapons are not enough for them to topple President Bashar al Assad, they may have been a factor in the insurgents' announcement last month that they were abandoning a failing truce and resuming attacks on government targets.
