303 Women in Lipstick Record

303 sets of lips have just helped break a world record.    
        
Estee Lauder Global Makeup Stylist Rick DiCecca successfully set a new Guinness World Record for lipstick application.            

Guidelines for the record category stated that the lipstick must be applied consistently on the lower and upper lip of each participant, and the color must be within the lip lines. 
           
DiCecca said he was thrilled to beat the previous record of 180 applications.     
       
[Rick Dicecca, Make-up Artist]:       
"I feel great about breaking the record. I wasn't sure, 'til we got to the 180 mark, and then I really got my stride and I was home free."     
       
An official Guinness World Records adjudicator was present to verify the record had been broken, and to present the certificate.  

[Danny Girton Jr., Guiness Book of Records Judge]:         
"This one, because of the energy, enthusiasm and the fun that everybody had, this ranks right up there as the most memorable, and I am really glad that Rick set the record."     

The previous record, set in Spain in early March, lasted just over 3 months until it was soundly beaten here at this Macy's store in Chicago.
