The King of Comics

Guo Jingxiong, a.k.a. "Daxiong," published over 100 comic books and taught at Jilin College of the Arts in China before he was arrested for practicing Falun Gong. After being beaten by Chinese police, Daxiong fled to the U.S. where he's recently illustrated editions of "Top Ten", "Justice League" and "Star Wars Adventures" for DC Comics and Dark Horse.

Daxiong also illustrated "Muowang" for Europe's Soleil Comics and numerous other works under his own company: Flag Studios. The winner of numerous awards in China, Europe and the United States, Daxiong shares his experience creating comics internationally, and his passion for traditional Chinese culture.
