"Glorious" Shen Yun Performance in Canberra

On April 17, Canberra Theatre hosted the City's first show by Shen Yun Performing Arts for 2012 and audience members were amazed by their superb skills. The show comes from New York and showcases 5000 years of Chinese civilization.

"Spectacular, and colorful, and elegant, full of energy, it was just glorious. And all those young people dancing, it's superb energy. I really enjoyed it."

[Barry Finkelde, Writer]:
"And that chap that did the monkey king was absolutely brilliant."

[Vijay Goel, CSIRO Scientist]:
"The most wonderful show I have seen in my life. I'm a 53 year old, but it's just fantastic. I just loved it. And maybe I think in Canberra you should have more shows like this - people would love it."

[Peter Hogan, Farmer]:
"So beautiful. Very emotional. I can feel the emotions from the dancers. The very first part with the drums- that almost made me cry; I could feel the energy. The ladies dancing are so beautiful. They weren't just beautiful on the outside, I could feel the beauty that they had inside. they were real, they were real people."

There will be another show in Canberra tonight the 18th of April.
