“Truly Spectacular” Shen Yun in Sydney, Australia
Susan Frazier attended the Shen Yun matinee performance in Sydney on May 2nd. She found aspects of the performance spectacular while also being moved by the deeper message.
[Susan Frazier, Wine Maker]:
“It’s truly spectacular. I found the scene particularly moving where Falun Gong were being persecuted by authorities, and I had tears in my eyes because I know how real that is and the struggles that people still have today.”
Shen Yun presents traditional Chinese culture through colorful and inspiring Chinese dance and music.
[Susan Frazier, Wine Maker]:
“The costuming is spectacular, the dancing is obviously quite remarkable; so great show! Really enjoying it.”
Through a collection of stories, performers take audience members on a journey spanning 5,000 years, from ancient times to the present.
[Susan Frazier, Wine Maker]:
“I think the highlights are seeing the dancers perform so beautifully, but the stories being told are really memorable.”
Shen Yun will be performing at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney until May 6 before heading off to Hawaii.
