Director: Shen Yun is the "Quintessential Perfection"

Producer Jim Crill saw the debut of Shen Yun Performing Arts in San Antonio Texas on Tuesday May 8th. He shared his emotional experience with NTD after the performance at Lila Cockrell Theater.

“This is the finest thing, the finest event I’ve ever been to in my life. I sat in the front row, and I was in tears, because of the human spirit, the dignity, the power, the love, coming out of those people was astounding.” 

Fighting back tears, Mr Crill says Shen Yun is the most powerful thing he’s ever seen.

“I want to go live in China, I want to tell them who you people are. They’ll listen to me, because they have to. This is the most powerful thing I’ve ever seen. It’s the quintessential perfection of the human spirit, the talent, the perfection. The eyes of those people are all so unified, the directedness. The perfection of their fingers was flawless, like no one can do without the spirit of God in them. I am astounded, I mean, I’m paralyzed.”

Shen Yun brings back China’s 5,000 years of divinely inspired culture, Mr Crill says everyone should experience this.

“I just wish there was a way I could cry out to mankind and say they owe it to themselves to experience Shen Yun; and the people and the culture of China that comes down from thousands of years. Today I said, I get it, once the Chinese people find the true human spirit they will bring peace to the whole world. It will come from China, it will come from Chinese culture.”

He says nothing is beyond the performance.

“If I can say to the American public, if they believe they have seen fine talent, they owe it to themselves to see Shen Yun. Because this is the profound, quintessential end of entertainment, there is nothing beyond this, nothing.”
